As a family we would like to contribute to the world somehow. I am hoping to start a monthly project for a specific purpose. We plan on making something to benefit someone else somehow. Whether it be cards or baskets for nursing home residents, or blankets and pillows for the homeless. I think it is important to give back and be grateful. After all, God has blessed us with a roof over our head and food in our bellies.
Even more importantly, is the example I am setting for my children. I have always read the scriptures regarding a Godly woman and often I feel I am not doing my part to meet those expectations.
If anyone out there has ideas or has an ongoing project such as this, please let me know.
