Sculptured food or at least felted food seems to be making a comeback. This little cornucopia sure would be cute made out of felt for this holiday season.
Visit some of these other sites for great Thanksgiving décor ideas then post yours below. Remember it does not have to be vintage or retro, but if you do have old photos or recipes please feel free to post away!

Grab our Flashback Wednesdays button or one of our BitsyPieces buttons and add it to your links. I would love it if you followed my blog and please let me know you were here. Have fun and add your links below.

 Week 2
Well, it is Wednesday again. I am committed to keeping up with my promise to feature a vintage or retro project from "back in the day".

This week I pulled out one of my old "Pack-O-Fun" magazine. They were little booklets actually. This one is from the 1960 Holiday Season. Ever wonder what to do with all those potatoes you seem to have at Thanksgiving? Well, wonder no more!

I am leaving it in original size so you can try and read the instructions. What fun!!

Now, please join in the fun. You don't have to post a vintage or retro project. You can really post anything here except for sales or shop promos. This is just a get to know you link party and a chance to Flashback for a moment.

Please grab one of our buttons and Follow Us (If it is working today...ugh) and feel free to leave your comments below with your link as well.

Week 1

We are so excited; this is our first ever linky party. It should be great fun to see all of your projects and ideas. Please follow the directions below to post your link. If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to email me at kathi3333@gmail.com and I will do my best to help. I am new to this as well!

I have been saving craft magazines since I was a teenager. I even inherited some from my mom and found others in thrift stores. Here is a flashback to 1977. I am posting the pattern and directions for an owl potholder. Owls seem to be everywhere lately, so I thought I would post this.

Hey, even if you don’t try to make these, it might inspire you with another project you are working on.
